Do you think the Youtuber Domtendo would find a job if he quit YouTube for financial reasons?

The Nintendo Lets Player Domtendo was born in May 1993 and graduated from secondary school in 2010.

He has not yet completed any training. Although he wanted to train as a media designer, he couldn't find a job because they were all taken. He then started training as an IT system electronics technician, but dropped it off during his probationary period because it wasn't for him.

After dropping out of his training, he wanted to attend a technical college in the next school year and complete his general university entrance qualification. But he then discarded his plan because he realized that as a YouTuber and as a lets player he earned enough money to be able to finance his living.

Do you think he would find a job if he stopped YouTube for financial reasons? And would you hire him if you were a recruiter?

Gu

Obviously depends on the job / company where he is applying

Pa

I think he would have good chances in the entertainment area and in creative aspects… Maybe he could have chances as a background worker in a technology, gaming or "nerd" channel. His level of awareness is certainly useful when looking for a job. In the worst case, he would just start training again.

In the worst case, he would just start training again.

And end this time?

Pa

Ideally? XD

Ba

He would certainly not stand a chance in activities that have to do with actual work.

Ba

Such careers usually end like falling stars.

That is probably the downside of a YT "star". If the source fails, he has a real problem. No training, no studies. He is totally unqualified for the job market. He could then switch Twitch too.

Pa

This is his way. These are his chances that he has. He would either get through or stumble. But he would certainly not be lost.

Regardless of the fact that I don't know the guy, I suspect that he is successful because he is an entertainer or does his job there quite well.

It is conceivable that he could gain a foothold in another media area such as radio.

In a completely different department it would be rather difficult.

Some work for sure, the question is whether he likes it. Since I don't know him, I can't really judge what's possible.

With a little luck, if he is successful enough, he will get a job at television or radio, otherwise the whole job such as helpers in the warehouse, cleaning staff, temporary help in the supermarket, harvest workers, package deliverers, etc., where you only have a short induction and not necessarily one Needs training.

That is the risk if you start your own business and have not completed any training and gain work experience beforehand, or if you are simply out of your old job for too long.
