Last week I bought a new travel case (storage box and option to take it with you) for my Nintendo Switch. I'm explicitly writing a NEW one here because I can't get the Pro controller in my current one.
Now to my problem. The case was advertised with the addition "Fach für Pro-Controller". When I wanted to stow it there, however, it absolutely did not fit and it became clear that the compartment for the adapter is for the Joy-Cons to turn them into "a" controller.
Now I wanted to exchange the case, but I was refused a direct refund of the purchase price, on the grounds that a return transfer (payment was made via EC card) was only possible from 50 euro… The purchase price was 39.99 euro
In my opinion, however, I'm entitled to a refund because the product does not do what it should.
Who is right now in this case?
What the other party is saying is total nonsense.
Write again politely that you want to return the intentionally wrongly advertised and delivered item for a refund of the full purchase price. With a clear reference: If you refuse to accept the return, I see myself compelled to take legal action against you.
You are definitely right.
Was the seller a dealer or a private person?
The seller is a dealer (Müller drugstore)
Then did you buy the things on site or do they also have an online shop?
They have an online shop, but I bought them on site
Couldn't open the case due to the packaging and see if the controller would fit…
Ah I see you just wrote that you bought it on the spot. Well, that changes things decisively.
Exchange is then only possible on site.
