Hi, I wanted to know why I keep getting packet loss of 20% on the PS4 when someone watches Netflix or "uses" the Internet.
Is there any way to fix that? Is that because of the PS4 because it is sometimes overheated and very loud?
I also use a new LAN cable supplied with the FritzBox 7530 RT. Is there perhaps also settings on the FritzBox side so that you no longer have a packet loss? Or a setting where I can give certain devices little internet speed or make certain devices slower so that my device runs faster and better without packet loss?
(I have already put the priority on the PS4, so for all priorities)
What kind of internet connection do you have?
DSL
Do you also have all the way from the PS to the router by cable? If you have Wi-Fi somewhere in between, it doesn't matter that you used a cable.
How do you mean? So the ps4 is connected with LAN cable, the cable is perfect because the router (FritzBox) is next to it. The DSL cable is connected to the socket as normal, but I got a new DSL cable because the other one was too short.
There are many who make Wi-Fi from floor to floor and then plug the cable into the Wi-Fi router on your floor.
That doesn't help you just as you have described it, put a cable directly from the device to the router.
Update your PS times if that is not done automatically.
