No Watchdogs 2 confirmation code received?

I downloaded and installed Watchdogs 2 for free from the Epic Store. When I try to start it, a message appears that I have to enter an activation code. I checked my emails and only found the Epic invoice. My Uplay account is linked to another E-mal. In my settings on Uplay it is not even listed that I have Watchdogs 2 on PC, only on PS4. What could i do? Does the code come from the Uplay email or from Epic Games?
