I bought a mSata 1 TB SSD at a good price. Unfortunately, mistakenly, because I thought it was a 2.5 "I can install my PS4 pro.
Can I now use an adapter mSata to 2.5 "mSata in the PS4? Could it then be a loss in performance?
Are there recommendations for adapters?
There's an adapter for everything I actually find something sinlos but have no problem with it.
https://www.amazon.de/...00VFMGB78/
but it is only a bechtpiel I would inform me again what that ssd is. You know best what you have bought and keon bock on it
What should that be for an answer, please?
If you can't read properly and apparently do not write.
Then you still miss the buck then let it better.
That there are these adapters is of course aware. It's about the performance!
Did not I help you?
I got the Samsung EVO 860 mSata new for 100 euro - top price
but it was a bad buy, because I thought it would be 2.5 "Now you can choose to send the record back or just build it with an adapter, but if I have to reckon with loss of performance then I would do without the installation yes someone else has made the positive experience with SSD adapters even installed in a PS4.
Absolutely not
You asked for an adapter and got an adapter. As you react, I'm sure I do not want to write anything about performance etc.
Think, hardly anyone will block this in this combination. Can only read reviews and reviews for each adapter.
So, after I suggested the wrong adapter earlier. Here is the right adapter:

Like the other answer, this adapter has an installation height of 7mm and the PS4 supports up to 9,5mm installation height.
Since the ports are in the same position as a normal 2.5 "SATA hard drive, the adapter will fit into the PS4.
The PS4 will then have the same speed as with a normal 2.5 "SATA SSD if the MSata would otherwise be faster.
