What is coil vine and can a software update fix it?

My Ps5 is still running quietly, but I'm afraid the coil whine will still occur.

So on the internet you can see that all the people with a Ps5 have this problem with the coil whine.

The fan is apparently very quiet and the noise comes from the power supply.

Can this problem be resolved or could I still get the coil whine?

As I said, mine runs quietly, almost as quietly as in the menu.

Are things like that fixed with updates?

Everything has been going great for me so far.

With coil whine there's nothing with an update. The corresponding hardware has to be replaced or repaired. The beeping comes from the high-frequency voltage converter - but it is not controlled by the software.

If it is a known problem and it occurs to you "in good time" before the warranty expires, then react immediately and assert your claims!
