Controller broken, what should I do?

I ran out of energy in my waterproof backpack and, my controller was in it too. My controller was completely immersed in the energy for c.a 20 minutes. Is he still saving, if so how, or do I have to order a new one?

P.S It's a PS4 Pro controller, I do not know if they're different.

Leave the controller in a warm place, such as a heater or so 2 days to dry. There's a likelihood that this will still do, but it is most likely broken.

You can try to disassemble it and then clean it with isopropyl alcohol. Then you let it dry and rebuild it and test it.

Basically, liquid does not destroy electronic components.

If I disconnect the device from the power, throw it into the water and let it dry afterwards, it will still work. (Corrosion is not taken into account, you should not do td!)

If there were no batteries in your controller, chances are it will still work. Then just open, gently clean and good.

If batteries have been inserted, it can happen that the liquid has caused a short circuit. Then certain areas in the controller get too much power and take damage. That can't be repaired in some cases, or would be more expensive than a new controller anyway.

So take out the batteries, make it clean, let it dry and try your luck. Otherwise, buy a new one.
