Ps4 controller on switch?

Hi have a question can I connect my ps4 controller to the switch with a normal USB stick?

Unfortunately it does not work, or if it would work you could not equate its functions with the switch / some things would not be possible for you.

You would need a stick like the 8Bitdo Wireless Bluetooth Adapter. I have it for my Switch and it allows DualShock 4 and Xbox One controllers to be connected via Bluetooth.

Yes have a switch per controller but just wanted to ask me to get one is out of the question
