Playstation 4, switch off controller while playing a Sony video?

I have the problem that if I borrow a film from my Playstation 4 in the Sony store, I have to start my controller permanently, because if I switch it off by holding it down for a long time or by switching it off via the menu, the film remains stand see picture.

The film then thinks I have taken a break, with Netflix it works without any problems, I can switch off the controller and netflix continues at Sony Film, it doesn't seem to work or do you know a solution?

Hold down the PS button> Devices> Controller> Switch off

Addendum: Did not see the part below the picture. You can also set it to turn off automatically after 10 minutes.

It stands on 10 minutes but that doesn't help as long as a film is running, the controller runs permanently because it is considered active use or something

I also don't understand why Playstation's own video platform can't do that
