Will my locker stay in fortnite?

I wanted to disconnect my account on the Internet side of fortnite (ps4) there's my locker and statistics are set back means that all hurts just because I disconnect? See image

Your progress will only be deleted on the PS4 account. Your locker will of course be preserved. If you do that, you'll never be able to recover your progress on the PS4.

So there's no way to change the account except a new user on ps4 and then start fortnite?
