Since yesterday evening I've downloaded the latest update for my Sony XG9505 (it always does it automatically).
Today I wanted to gamble, but then I immediately noticed that the sound comes to the picture with a noticeable delay. I have a Bose soundbar connected with an optical cable. Before that everything went great, but since the update there has been this annoying delay…
I have now plugged the optical cable directly into the PS4 -> now it works fine.
Have you already had similar experiences? I also went through all the settings on the TV, but nothing could counteract the whole thing.
It's just annoying because it was great before, not anymore. In addition, such a TV often costs more than 1000 EUR, so something like that shouldn't happen!
Is also correct like that.
Always connect the soundbar to external devices & then via HDMI to the ARC port of the TV. Otherwise the TV first has to pass the audio signal through and this can have negative effects.
Can you set any synch settings like audio delay on the soundbar? If so, set it to 0ms & try your old setup.

Unfortunately, I can't make such precise settings on the soundbar. But do you recommend the ARC port? At the moment I'm using the normal HDMI port…
Would be better, yes.
But since that's how it works, it doesn't really matter. But you can try it, nothing can break ^^
