What does payment mean in the PayPal direct debit process?

I recently bought 2 in-game purchases from a Psn game with my mother's Paypal account. Today I saw on the Paypal app that the payment is in the direct debit process. Do I have to worry and do something. My mother has namely also received an email where what was said about: The debit agreement that enabled Sony Interactive Entertainment to make the payment for your booking has been canceled. I don't know exactly what to do now or whether something went wrong. My concern is whether this will result in new costs.

Your mother shouldn't have let you on her PayPal account at all!

Account sharing is prohibited at PayPal and minors in particular are not allowed to use PayPal at all.

Your mother should clarify that with PayPal support now.

Co

Yes, that's right, I won't do anything about it from now on. Fortunately, I think I have a solution and I immediately removed my mother's Pay PAL account from the payment methods at the Psn Store. Is this email possibly related to it?

fa

I'm not very familiar with PayPal. However, I would say that the creditor was allowed to withdraw the money directly from the PayPal account.

The email your mother received means, from my point of view, that she has withdrawn this permission. Talk to her.

If she revoked this, then the service ordered would not be paid for. Which in turn could mean that you get mail.

But, since you are (obviously) not yet 18 years old and also did not have your mother's permission to close the "deal", you should seek the contact yourself and contradict the "deal".

Co

Yes exactly it is true that I removed my mother's account immediately so that I would not buy anything in the future and it is true that I would otherwise click on the payment mezjode PayPal then the purchase was completed directly without any questions

Qu

The mail comes when PayPal is used as the payment method.
Does your mom know you used her account?
Was she okay with that?

Gu

Geez.

Then your mother has a problem now.

But as a PayPal account holder, she knows that, she has read the PayPal terms of use and can also start with the term "debt collection".

It's good that as a minor you have nothing to do with it.

fa

The best thing to do is to talk to your mother and explain this to her exactly as you did here. She will know what to do. Could be real trouble (with your mother), but from my point of view this is the least of the problems. So: be honest ;-)

Co

But there's the payment method that it is debited quite normally via the account only half with payment in the direct debit process. Why should debts come then?

Co

Bro sent you a fa, maybe you'd like to accept it

Co

Yes I did that via PayPal so that it goes faster maybe you want to talk to me a little then I could explain all of them to you once

Qu

You don't have to explain anything to me! Lying to a bank and entering falsified data is a serious offense and there's - with me - nothing to talk about.
The consequences will come from PayPal: They will ban you for life.

Co

I beg you you have misunderstood it
