I wanted to know if The Witcher 3 is good for the PS4. And what else, is The Witcher 3 running at 30 FPS on the PS4?

I wanted to know if The Witcher 3 is good for the PS4.

Nobody can say whether you like it. It is considered by the general public to be one of the best games in recent years. Personally, I think it's mediocre.

The Witcher 3 on PS4 with 30 FPS?

Yes, but not more than 30 FPS

fi

Thank you for your answer. Do you actually notice the 30 FPS strong?

ly

If you compare it directly with 60FPS you definitely notice it.
But if you only play on the console anyway and you are used to it, this is less of a negative.

As a PC player, I always need 20 to 30 minutes for my eyes to get used to it. (Got Witcher 3 on PS4) But then that's completely clear. But I do not know if the 30fps on the normal PS4 are also stable and jump down to 25 or so (have a PS4 Pro)

Hasn't become one of the most popular games anyway and has won a bunch of prizes, but I don't know if you like it. My brother and a friend of mine didn't like the game so much, but I love the game and played it several times, first on the PS4 and later in full splendor on the PC.

The game runs on the PS4 with 30 FPS, sometimes drops below 30 FPS on the normal PS4, but you can also quickly check something out on YouTube.

Team Triss btw and yes I read the books.

I love the game, although I find the first part much better. Wild Hunt makes the same mistake here as the Assassins Creed series. In the first part it built up a strong main quest, which in the third part completely ignores the original story: flaming rose and squirrel are only mentioned in passing, the boy and the Salamandra also disappear somewhere in nirvana. I would have hoped for more. Even the King of the Wild Hunt… Well, let's leave it. * Spoiler *

Witcher 3 is not a bad game, far from it. But it simply left too many points of contact.

As for the graphics and FPS, I can't help you. I think the Witcher lives mainly from story and music. I can confidently do without graphics.

hu

Umm… Game of the year, lots of prizes won, because of the success Netflix has made a series of the book template… Do you really have to say more?

In my opinion, TW3 is one of the strongest role-playing games of the decade.

It offers a large open world, in which the combination of open world and storyline is more successful than many other games that have tried it. Exploring the world, completing quests and treasure hunts brings Geralt plenty of XP and items. The world appears alive, a dark, racial and war-torn medieval world in which the concepts of good and evil can no longer be easily distinguished. The graphics don't have to hide to this day. The soundtrack is wonderful…

Because the world is so bleak, our Witcher is often faced with decisions where it is not clear which is morally justifiable. Even though Geralt often tries to stay out of conflicts, he is often faced with the question of what the "lesser evil" actually is. That humans can be worse monsters than the ones we as Witcher have to hunt and defeat is a recurring theme. Faint-hearted hearts who like to play the shining hero may be wrong here.

Accordingly, we encounter interesting, multi-layered characters in the course of the main plot and embark on a journey with Geralt that is longer than in many RPGs of this kind. A story that starts slowly, but which many gamers say afterwards that they do emotionally demanding and will therefore be remembered.

If a good story is important to you and is willing to take some time to get into the rather complex system of potions, oils, signs and sword fighting, this is the place for you. Witcher 3 is not a "shooting game" or "action game" in which there's one fight after the other, at least for long stretches at the beginning.

TW3 is my personal favorite game. And with around 80-100 hours of gameplay, if you do NOT explore everything, you get plenty of bids for your money. The best way to treat yourself to the "Game of the Year" edition is because it includes the two outstanding DLCs Heart of Stone and Blood & Wine. Both are great additions to the main game, but B&W offers its own world and a storyline that can keep up with some full games on the market.

I played it on a PC, so I can't answer the PS4 question, sorry

ly

That doesn't mean that everyone thinks it's so "awesome".

hu

Wasn't that the question? The question was whether it was a good game, not whether everyone liked it.

ly

And? Any prizes don't mean that a game is good or not. Michael Wendler has also won awards. Do you think he makes good music?

hu

If a game is chosen as the game of the year, it must mean something. You can't compare Ganing to a monkey like that. And you still equate "good" with "find good", that's your mistake.

ly

You already know who awards such prizes?

You can very well compare it to that.

hu

Has Michael Wendler won the award for best singer of the year? He has? No he did 'nt. But that doesn't really matter.

Witcher 3 has won many awards. And why? Because it is very popular and has been sold in heaps. Conversely, it has to be good, otherwise it would not be so popular and sold so often.

Now if the question is whether car XY is good, and technically it is well thought out and solid, then it is a good car. That is a fact. No sow cares if you like the car.

So again: Witcher 3 is a good game, that's a fact. Whether you or the questioner like it is a different matter, because that is a matter of taste. But that was not asked here, one can't answer that either.

Wendler also didn't sell very little music. So according to your logic it has to be good.

Another example. The Call of Duty series has also been showered with awards for years, but has been rather controversial.

So again: Witcher 3 is a good game, that's a fact

I don't contradict you at all. But to justify this with any awards alone is absolutely naive.

hu

Boy, just stop annoying. If you agree with me anyway, what are you doing here now? Just because you don't want to believe that prices matter? You can keep this opinion to yourself, I don't want it!

ly

Annoy? Nobody forces you to answer. If discussions on the Internet annoy you and you cling convulsively to your point of view, you are wrong here. I'm not interested in your opinion either, but you still answer.

Find out who awards these awards. This can very well be compared to the music industry.

If prices are a sign of quality for you then good night. Rarely read something naive.

hu

It's a clue, not a proof. I have never said that something that deserves awards is automatically good.
