3 almost new PS4 controllers suddenly stopped charging. What could be the reason for this or what could be fixed?

A friend from Switzerland sent me 3 PS4 controllers because he no longer needs them. All three as good as new. Now I have charged it for the first few days like mine has always been for years, with all kinds of USB cables or adapters.

Now the 3 Swiss controllers stop charging at the same time within 2-3 days. Tried a number of cables, adapters, PC or PS4 - no chance.

Now the only explanation for me would be that the controller for the Swiss market somehow has a different power consumption, fuse or the like and the German power has destroyed all of them as a result.

Can that be? I know nothing about it, but I have no other explanation for myself.

Is that a serious question?

Controller is not charged at the socket!

Most of them break as a result!

No, it's the same everywhere.

A controller in China can also be used in Europe.

In the last few years, I loaded my last 10 controllers exclusively with all possible cables and never on the PS4. And of all things, 3 almost new ones no longer work? Sorry, that can't be…

That doesn't affect the cable, but the adapter.

My very first Playstation Controller got so mumbled.

Especially Samsung Netzeile prove to be very unreliable when charging controllers at the socket, which is not recommended at all!
