Do I lose my characters in Terraria after deleting and re-downloading the game on ps4?

So if I delete Terraria briefly on my Ps4 and then download it again, will my characters and worlds be deleted or can I pick up where I left off?

Normally you can save more easily on pc

On the pc you can easily copy the worlds and character folders but ps4 i don't know
