A few games on the Playstation 5 will support 120 FPS through the HDMI 2.1 port. However, many monitors only have HDMI 1.4 connections and do not support 120 Hz at the connection, although according to Wikipedia this would also be possible with HDMI 1.4. The monitors focus on the DisplayPort.
So is it possible to connect the PS5 with an HDMI-to-DisplayPort adapter to a 144 Hz monitor in order to have the 120 FPS on the screen?
There are many different adapters to buy on eBay.
Maybe you can just get in touch with an eBay seller
and ask him whether the product he is offering is suitable for your purposes.
