Witcher 3 Bug is there any way to fix the problem?
Hey 🙂 I've been playing Witcher 3 on the Playstation for a while. And the first time I played it through, I didn't notice the bug…
Now I play it through again and find out that there's a treasure hunt quest in the "Hearts of Stone" expansion pack: (From Ophiri's distant shores) that can't be completed.
I have reloaded the save many times but the bug still remains, unless you start the game directly from Hearts of Stone with all the objects you have collected, but I want to keep my saved save because Gerald decided on Triss.
Does anyone know if there's a way I can complete the quest? 🤔

If you pursue the treasure hunt at Hearts of Stone: (From Ophiri's distant shores) you must first find the place where the Ophirian trader was attacked and follow the trail. Then you come to a hiding place where bandits are waiting. When you have done that and look around with the witches you will find a treasure chest in which the scheme should be in it. However, there's no scheme in the treasure chest… And that's why I can't complete the quest.

The OFFICIAL answer from Cd Project Red is that no more people are working on the witcher. You know about the bug, but made a patch that doesn't work for everyone. The official workaround of CdPR is just that, as you mentioned, you have to play directly from Hearts of Stone to get the trophy. Otherwise there's no way to complete the quest.

Have you ever thought that I might have other things to do besides being online all the time? Just ridiculous to write such a comment.
Although this error has been minimized by a patch, it unfortunately occurs very rarely. According to CD Project Red there's no fix and no patch is being worked on. So you have no choice but to continue playing with the bug or start over.
Perhaps you will only answer if you know the answer, or if you have enough vision to understand the question.
P.s. In the meantime you have been able to derive something constructive from my answer, at least.
By the way, restarting the game does not help. If this bug is present, only playing directly from Hearts of Stone will help.
How am I supposed to have an answer, if the question is written in such a lack of detail? After all, I don't know every bug by heart. And you don't have to turn me on so stupid for that. If you know better, please write your own answer. But leave such unnecessary comments.
