My PS4 has a display error, which I tried to fix with the settings menu (press the On / Off button for 7 seconds). The menu opened, I connected the controller and I noticed that I can't operate the menu because my arrow key did not go down somehow. Then I searched the internet for how to fix something and only came across controller disassembly videos. So I wanted to ask, is there any solution to get the button working without disassembling the controller? Can't buy a new one because you can't get out in Vienna because of the virus. Are there other ways to use my PS4?
Don't the analog sticks work?
otherwise try to press the directional pad up a little more, if something happens…
otherwise I wouldn't know anything right away…
Thank you for your help! I solved the problem. And immediately a new one appeared and my PS4 mega hangs now. Any solutions?
Go back to security mode and go to "rebuild database" no fear, you can just do it from time to time, it is a kind of "clean up" function, no data or games are lost, everything is saved, only the ps4 is just cleared out a little bit… If not, only system software would have to be reinitialized… But I think everything will be deleted…
