My girlfriend told me yesterday that she had an experience on Thursday night which was quite creepy.
We went to bed, had the TV timer on and slept first. At some point she woke up (she often plays Monopoly on the Playstation) and on the one hand had the feeling that the game was running even though we were definitely on TV and most of all she saw herself lying on the couch.
Sometime after she was on the toilet she also felt like she had seen someone in the kitchen although there was definitely nothing there at second glance.
Can the brain spin something like this together? Has anyone ever experienced something similar? I tried to google it but didn't really know how to search for it.
There are no ghosts. Hallucinations do.

I didn't start from a ghost either. Would rather like to find out how something comes about or where it comes from.
No we weren't.
Half dream hallucination. Dream impressions that are experienced in the (semi) awake state because (in this case) the brain area that is responsible for dreams has not woken up quickly enough.
