Of course you never say no to supposed gifts of money, but I still wonder what the money is for. Should the new Playstation be bought with it so that the child prefers to play in the house? Toilet paper costs less again. It would have helped me further if the money had been put into education (IT equipment for the schools including training of the teachers), so I would not have had to organize 6 hours of lessons because the teacher can't and does not want to teach obline.
To me, the payment seems more like an expensive election gift and cheap compensation for pain and suffering to distract from the real problems. How do you see it
Due to my high tax burden, I'm happy about every "kick-back".
The official reason:
The child bonus is part of the federal government's corona stimulus package.
Families receive it as financial help, as they are exposed to particular stresses due to the Corona crisis (see also Federal Law Gazette No. 31, Articles 9 and 11).
Yes, I also asked myself where we should have an additional burden of 600 euro.
Of course, more has been done here, but not to the same extent.
Completely exaggerated, but as you say no you still don't say of course.
This is not intended for the extra wishes of the kiddies, but to relieve the parents of the extra expenses during the lockdown.
Many parents had to cook more because there was no school lunch. They also had to get more material, e.g. Lots of prints to make. So e.g. Printer paper and cartridges, etc.
Due to my high tax burden, I'm happy about every "kick-back".
Me too, but a reduction in the high tax burden would be more happy instead of such games…
For many financially weak families this was a great burden.
Be glad if it wasn't like that for you!
Right. But the likelihood of it happening is minimal minimal. 🙃
If you are one of those people who do not or hardly notice the additional financial burden from increased electricity and water consumption, more food and possibly even loss of earnings, then one thing above all: be grateful! In other families, these 600 euro are certainly just a drop in the ocean. Especially when it comes to loss of earnings because parents were unable to work less or not at all to secure childcare, some families may have hit the lockdown very hard - far harder than 600 euro…
From an economic perspective, the idea behind this bonus is that families with children in particular are very likely to bring this money back into the economic cycle - more than other population groups. Yes, if you think about it, that's a very cynical thought. Ultimately, it is based on the fact that life with children is so expensive that exactly where they live there's hardly anything or nothing left of the income and thus hardly any reserves can be built up… Only if that is the case is, the money goes straight back into consumer spending and does not end up in any savings accounts…
The noteworthy efforts were more on the time side.
At least it would be more sustainable.
