Why is Twitch better than Youtube or is YouTube better than Twitch? (Mixer)
YouTube is just bigger and potentially has a lot more viewers. In contrast, Twitch is only a mini platform. I don't think that Twitch can place next to YouTube in the long run. At some point this will come back, like many other platforms that were very popular, but ultimately lost to the big ones.
In terms of (successful) streamers, Twitch is pretty far ahead
YouTube tries to cover more or less everything but is still mainly a video platform.
Twitch is specially designed for streaming and also offers advantages for most streamers. For example, many great YouTube players often do so by streaming on Twitch and then uploading this stream in a cut version to YouTube.
I would therefore not say of either of the two platforms that it is better or worse, it always depends on what you want to do now. So I clearly see the qualities on YouTube in the videos and on streams with a low connection between audience and streamer, e.g. Streams of events etc. I see the qualities of Twitch on the other hand with live streams that are relatively informal, often with Twitch A certain closeness between viewers and streamers and many Twitch streamers respond to the questions of the audience or vice versa.
Oh understand youtube is better because you have more viewers good arguments
Just seeing the emotes and the reactions of the audience live is nice, but I like to see people live because you might be able to play in a few other games
Personally, as a viewer, I think Twitch is better. The chat is much clearer and easier. I also find the various support options more successful on Twitch (e.g. Twitch Prime etc.)
Ultimately, it depends on what the streamer does with it. I feel a lot more comfortable on Twitch.
Youtube simply offers more options. Mainly it remains a video platform form, but you can also stream there. There's also the fact that many upload their Twitch streams to YouTube in a best-of version. It also often happens on Twitch that streamers only provide their streams to subscribers, i.e. Those who pay the money, which can be quite annoying.
