I have a question I have a gaming pc and recently I got an xbox 360 controller to play the problem now is that the controller does not want to connect to the pc so I don't understand why because I have the USB from the charging cable on the pc connected and the other cable on the controller it just doesn't want to connect can someone please help me
Well first of all it has to be a USB cable that doesn't just charge, otherwise it won't work. Plus, your game has to support it too.
So I have an xbox 360 controller but the USB cable is not in the controller so you can always put the cable in and out
Yes, that is already clear. But there are USB cables that can only charge and then which can also transfer data. If you have one that can only charge then it only does that and it's no wonder that your XBox controller won't connect. So the question is what kind of one do you have. Was that included with the controller or did you buy it extra?
And as I said, are you sure that the controller is not connected and that it is not just the game? You can also try to set up a controller manually in the settings if it does not work automatically.
So this cable was included with the purchase but I wanted to play fifa so this controller has to work
Yes, theoretically it should work. Do you have the game on Steam? And if so, did you check the controller settings in the settings?
And in general have you checked your Windows settings and tried to set up the controller manually?
For me with Bluetooth it says that the controller is there for devices when I pull the USB cable out of the controller, with Bluetooth the controller is gone for my devices if I don't pull out the cable it is still there
