Which of the consoles do you personally find better in the overall package?
If I were to buy a console, it might be Nintendo Switch.
Nice too!
Of course I can only speak of myself, the Xbox is completely uninteresting for me because I have a PC and most Xbox games are also available for the PC. In addition, I'm mainly only interested in the exclusive titles from the Playstation, so I think the combination → Gaming PC + Playstation 4/5 is best. To complete the whole package, if necessary a Nintendo Switch for Animal Crossing and Zelda.
Celebrate the Switch too 😄
I have a PC anyway, so it's not just for gaming.
Whether I spend 400 euro for a decent graphics card or 400 euro for a console is irrelevant and so I have everything in one with additional options such as the use of a Cinemascope 21: 9 monitor or the free choice of an input device.
😐🥲 I think it's a shame that you often falsify the results so badly by bringing PCs on board.
PCs and consoles are technically relatively similar, but you can't really compare them. Pcs are meant for everything. For playing games, writing emails, editing pictures and much more. Consoles are actually only intended to play games. That you can now watch films and the like is secondary.
Personally, I think the overall Xbox package is a lot better this year compared to the Playstation.
This has the following reasons:
Like every year, the Xbox controller is number 1 when it comes to workmanship, quality and compatibility. Sony just can't keep up.
The XBOX GAME PASS is the Netflix of games! No gaming service is as extensive and well-maintained as the Xbox Game Pass, the ability to play over 300 games without having to buy them is a reason to buy an Xbox for me. With the Playstation you still have to buy many big titles for 70 or even 80 euro, which is not so good for the wallet.
As is well known, the volume of the two Next Gen Xbox consoles is again a lot lower than that of the Playstation 5. Point for the Xbox!
The free storage space of 800GB on the Xbox Series X is considerably larger than that of the Playstation 5 with only 600GB of free storage space
As with the Xbox One X, the Xbox Series X can pride itself on being the most powerful console. 4K, 8K, 1440p 120fps, all of this is possible! With the Playstation it's all just slimmed down. No native 4K, or only rarely native 4k. No 1440p or 8K mode and many problems with the 120fps modes and games.
Exclusive games have often been a criticism of Xbox consoles. This year, however, the Xbox Series is offering completely new titles, or will soon be offering titles that will be continued. An example would be Perfect Dark. The Playstation continues to rely on the same brands and doesn't really bring anything cool and new all in one.
Here are a few of the many Xbox Exclusive titles still released. That the Microsoft Xbox platform has no exclusive titles or no good titles is nonsense!
And Pokemon.
Because of the exclusive games and because there's a larger selection of JRPG's.
Ah and on the subject of exclusive titles.
It is a fact that the Xbox title will also appear on Windows PCs, but it will probably not look different at Sony in the future. Many games are only available on the consoles at Microsoft for a limited time only, after which they will appear on Steam (Sony) or in the Xbox Pc Store (Microsoft).
The following Playstation "Exclusive Titles" are then also available for Steam users:
Kena: Bridge of Spirits
Godfall
Deathloop
Nour: Play With Your Food
God of War 2 Ragnarok
Seasons
Ghostwire Tokyo
Project Athia
Stray
Oddworld Souldstorm
Little Devil Inside
And many more.
As you can see, the complete exclusivity of Playstation games will soon be history. Sony is slowly but surely trying to copy and imitate Microsoft's strategy.
As with Microsoft, games should appear on computers in order to generate higher sales. That makes perfect sense, since Sony doesn't make nearly as much sales with the Playstation as Microsoft does with the Xbox division. 😄 The argument that an Xbox would be uninteresting would be done with, because both consoles are basically uninteresting, since most exclusive titles can also be downloaded or streamed on computers. In the future, you will probably only have to choose between the consoles, which games you like more and where you have the most friends.
At the moment, a lot of people are switching to Windows. This is very good for the Xbox brand, because Windows and Xbox form a uniform ecosystem, parties, chats, games. All of this can be exchanged between the two platforms or one can communicate between these platforms without problems. Sony continues to rely on the limited and insecure Playstation Network system… No wonder that Xbox Live has significantly more users than the Playstation Network
