There are lots of board games
I don't mean online games, PC games, PlayStation, XBox, Internet.
Back of chairs. That was exciting, sometimes naked but with a mask.
Yes, when I'm with my family. Phase 10, risk, El Grande, Carcassonne, something like that
Cool
No we have not. Our life is the same as it was before Corona: twice as much work, household chores, the children's homework, being on the road a lot. Nothing has changed. When do you have extra time for board games?
Generally less yes. Before the lockdown, I hosted a public game night every two weeks. It's online now, but with definitely fewer players.
However, it was only because of the lockdown that I was able to play one board game more than before.
So yes, it has become less because you can't just invite friends, but I still play, albeit digitally.
But hey, great advantage: The game shelf that I rearranged two months ago is still sorted!

In such difficult times, where even window shopping or shopping doesn't make sense / fun, I personally welcome board games as a cultural asset.
If you are single or have a partner who does not like to play, you will not be able to enjoy the most beautiful pastime of these hard times in an analogue way.
Personally, I've always gambled and been fortunate to have a spouse who loves playing board games.
In 2009 we really started playing, got an average of 100 games a year and hosted two to three game evenings a week with us. In 2017 we became parents and almost didn't play for 3 years.
We've started playing again since Corona.
The longer this crisis lasts, the more intensely we play I have the feeling.
As mentioned before, since there's nothing more to do, my wife and I have no choice but to spend the evenings with nice board games.
In the last 8 weeks alone I had 44 wings flaps with both extensions on the table.
