My Xbox Series X controller keeps doing this kind of double entry, what should I do?

The "cursor" jumps in the home menu and otherwise 2 or three too far and I don't know why. The D-pad the same. So I press 1 time to the right on the D-Pad and the console goes to the right in menu 2-3, not a step as desired. I don't think I changed anything. I changed the batteries, restarted the console and disconnected the power, nothing helps. Maybe someone once had this bug. I've had the console since release.

Have you already disconnected and reconnected your controller? Maybe made a controller update?

I identified it several times and there's nothing new to update.

Do you have a second controller to test whether it is on the console?

I just tried and only the controller that was with the console has the bug.
