Thank you
Well, in the worst case, you will not have XBox One X more…
Oh, so you would realize that it does not work anymore? So this has nothing to do with the picture
In the worst case, you would recognize the fact that it flares off…
The XBox one X has an external voltage converter, which turns the 230V socket into the voltage that the console needs.
If you connect another (Stranger) voltage converter, in the best case, nothing will happen (too little power), eventually it will work (but then has to fit current / voltage / polarity) or it dies heroic death (too much voltage / current).
In any case I advise you only to take the original power supply, since everything else is a roulette game.
Ok, who else is possible, what else is there for signs that the power cord is the wrong one?
Ok, thanks, what kind of apparent heroic dead or that it still works? And who would they work, what would be the restrictions?
It depends on the power of the transformer. Have googled something and the XBox needs probably 220W 12V-17.9A for the console, you do not get it with normal power supplies.
If the performance is too low, it will probably get off with larger games (reset or restart) which is not exactly healthy for them.
if the power is too high (too much voltage) it will definitely overheat and probably die. The same thing usually happens with wrong polarity (exchange positive and negative at the output.
Power supplies are available at Amazon or Ebay for less than 30 Euronen and that's always better than anything else to try and after having no more XBox.
OK thanks
