I have a fritzbox 7490 and a 100k line, the Wi-Fi works as always on every device but on my xbox where the Wi-Fi was otherwise normal I have a 157-260 latency so very bad Wi-Fi and can therefore no longer gamble etc. Someone knows what to do
Is your router free of any objects? (So not in the corner, under the table or in a closet)
Is your Xbox free standing in the room and not blocked by anything?
Which Wi-Fi do you use 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz and are your other devices connected to the same Wi-Fi?
Are you on the internet with other Wi-Fi devices when you play with your Xbox?
Do you live in an area with a lot of Wi-Fi or more rural or less Wi-Fi?
Is that also when you bring the box "closer" to the Fritzbox and then test it?
Did the early one work and if so, what has changed in the house or in the network?
So my xbox is free in my room and the router below a bit covered but it never caused problems even if there were a few others in the WLAN I tested my connection and there's download speed 67 MBit / s upload speed 29 MBit / s packet loss 0% MTU 1480 latency 158 MS signal strength 94%
