I have had an XBox One S for a few months now. Whenever I switch it off, the fan keeps running a bit. At first I thought that it would keep cooling until it was good to shut it down completely. Now I'm sure it's a mistake. I tried the fast boot mode and power save mode, but both keep the fan running. The fan pauses in between for 30 seconds. Up to a few minutes. And then runs again for a few minutes. Updates can't be either. Because even when I was back after a week of absence, the fan was still running at "regular" intervals.
Can someone help me?
It is the same with me
I just removed the energy saving mode and the option "Always keep the console up to date" and now it is quiet. Maybe that was it.
Thank you
I've had 2 Xbox One S consoles so far. Both run the fan, everything is fine. Even my One X still runs after it has been identified.
