Ps4 on vacation?

Actually a stupid question but would you take your Ps4 or Xbox with you on vacation?

I would be interested to know who does it, who has ever done it before or who really finds it unnecessary.

On the one hand, I find it totally unnecessary, since I'm there to go on vacation. On the other hand, when you have nothing to do in the evening and just feel like it, it is also very nice.

What do you all mean?

Arrives on vacation. If you go on vacation with friends, there's nothing to be said against an evening round on the PS. However, you should be aware that you should invest the time on vacation in things that you can only do on vacation.

What will that be for a vacation?

Holiday home with friends (min. 1-2 weeks)? Sure take with you, is funny every now and then with the other.

Hotel vacation, city tours or general short break? Absolutely no way. In the best case it is just stupid and in the worst case it distracts you from your vacation and you are only at home doing daddling.

Anything that relaxes and brings you down is allowed, so why not gamble on vacation!
I'm going to relax! It is something else when I come home from work of 10 hours, have to shop and cook and then play totally broken for an hour than when I sleep in at 28 ° C and sun, take a leisurely stroll!

That doesn't mean that I'm sitting on the controller for 14 days full of action, but I also don't shoot 14 days, 24/7 city trips and excursions. One or the other hotel / holiday home day is always in there! And lounging in the pool from morning to night is also boring with time!

However, I only did it once, when I was 11 when I was on vacation in Bavaria, when I slowly reached puberty. Going for a walk in the forest and visiting the glass blowing for the fifth time was no longer the big burner! So the PS2 came along and I looked for MGS: Sons of Liberty and Zone of the Enders.

Positive side effect: I got a cheat / solution booklet for MGS in which a complete solution for Splinter Cell was included, at that time as an extra. I read it like a novel and discovered my great love for Splinter Cell! Was bought after the vacation!

OrsCaution, storytelling in length of the novel⚠️

Did it 3 times. First time with my 360. But since I didn't have a portable monitor and wanted to take my 2007 flat-screen TV (which was more like a stone slab) with what felt like tons, I had to spend my vacation almost without my 360. Almost died of boredom on the Baltic Sea. I could only gamble 1 evening after I found out that the youth hostel had a projector. I entertained half the visitors with my gameplay on the outer wall of the hostel 👌🏻

a year later I bought a monitor on the fly, then finally started Deadspace 2 and 3 and because it was boring at some point, I spontaneously played Lego Indiana Jones 2 from 0 to 95% overall progress - in just 4 days 😂

Last year, another year after I got my first Xbox One, I took it with me. My supervisors (I lived in a youth flat until the beginning of this year, so don't be surprised) found this slowly annoying and said I shouldn't take the console with me - age I'm fisting 21 years old 😂 they can get to the edge in concrete terms hold 🤣 then said: "and Why tf can everyone else take their Götterdämmerung PS4 with them? Find the error! And btw, I'll take my console with me, whether you boomers like it or not! So: Don't touch it, otherwise it claps it "- without joke, the facial expression was priceless 😂

Basically, it's actually okay to take your console with you. The prerequisite for this is that you have a monitor for every eventuality, a replacement power and HDMI cable, and competent parents / educators who leave their boomer / educator happy.

Just decide how to do it yourself. Just take your console with you if you want a bit of a change due to boredom, rather than not taking it with you and then having to regret it.

Cheers. 👌🏻

Never in life.

But that's because of how I go on vacation. There's no time left to play, nor is it any priority for me.

I like to look at other cities. For example Rome, Paris, Athens, London and soon St. Petersburg. There I book a cheap hotel in advance only with breakfast and take care of departure and departure. When I'm there I explore everything on my own. But it starts early at times. All alone is a little more complicated but also more exciting.

Most of the time, I won't be back until late evening. Then you have dinner in some restaurant and the evening slowly fades away. Possibly also at the hotel bar.

Then I'm so tired that I fall asleep pretty quickly but all the more awake to start the next day, which also requires some preparation.

However, I have my tablet with me to access at least some information from the hotel. Be it information about locations, opening times and connections of the means of transportation. I rarely watch the news from home.

Otherwise I read a book before going to sleep.

So no, the console never comes along. Because all the experiences and impressions that you gain in this way want to be processed in peace.
