I've already bought multiple games or DLCs on my Xbox One via card number codes. (These 15 euro, 30 euro cards you can buy in stores such as DM) There are 15 euro credit on the card but I never give it out completely and still have every time I buy a new game on the store, one use new card.
Is there any way to somehow use the remaining balance without having to buy a new card? I'm sure that I'm min. 20 euro left and I'm tired of buying me a new card if I still have enough money left.
Credit which you do not consume remains. You will also see this if you want to buy something new.
Another way is to use PayPal. Can you easily link to your account? But keep an eye out, Microsoft will automatically set up a standing order for Xboxlive. Quite annoying if you then button off 60 euro although the LIVE codes on eBay for not even 40 are sold.

How and where is it displayed to me? Can I somehow use the credit without buying new cards? Thanks for the tip with PayPal I'll probably use in the future but I would rather try to use the remaining money, if possible.
If you click buy on a game, you will be asked to enter your personal number code. Then a window would appear where you can choose how you want to pay, your Xbox credit should be displayed there directly. Below you can also select other payment options.
As long as you have credit, you can use it without having to run new cards.
And if you do not have enough credit for something you can easily balance with PayPal.
