I'm already actively playing guitar, but since I want to buy a new one, I would love to try Rocksmith on my Xbox One.
Do you have any recommendations?
The 6.35mm jack plug is the de facto standard on guitars. Finding a guitar without the appropriate jack should be the bigger hurdle.
Something would be suitable for Rocksmith that makes tracking quite easy. So maybe not necessarily the Telecaster bridge pickup; the Stratocaster with tremolo or something with a hot pickup (e.g. P90)
Ultimately, you have to like the guitar. Maybe an Ibanez GRG with a fixed bridge? There are cheap, the processing is good compared to the price. Wouldn't want to play in life because my neck doesn't fit and I'm not looking for an input device for a video game; but maybe you like something like that.
