PS4 game support in the next few years?

I recently bought a PS4 for a low price, only to play the exclusive titles, because I actually have a powerful PC (RTX2070, Ryzen 2600) at home. I now like the Playstation more and more. Simply because I have all the games in one place that can collect pigeons (I'm a little platinum hunter) and the games on PS4 are still released on CD. I find CDs so interesting because I like to collect and can also resell them. In addition, I really buy something from a CD and not just a code. But what bothers me is that the whole thing still doesn't belong to me and the CDs are not worth anything anymore if Sony stops the support. It's no longer like in the good old days when a CD had saved the entire game, but today an update has to be made to be able to play at all. So now I ask myself how long it will take until support for the PS4 is discontinued and all games are worthless. Maybe you have information or guesses?

Basically, the games run even if you do not download the Day One patch (which is highly recommended). So the games will never be worthless. With multiplayer games, support can be discontinued after a certain time (on the part of the game developer!) - but we're mostly talking about 10+ years. You can download updates for a much longer time, it is still possible with the PS3 and it is 13 years old.

All of the PS4 games will be playable for a very long time. Single players have practically no expiry date, and multiplayer is sure to last several years.

Ok, that would be great, of course, but what I've heard is that some games are not playable at the factory.

I can think of only one game that applies to this: The Elder Scrolls Online, it doesn't fit the Bluray, and it's online-only anyway. There may be others, but the number should be very small.
