I recently bought a new Ps4 Pro and got a 4k TV for free.
The Hisense H55BE7200 to be precise.
Now I have the following little problem:
The Ps4 starts normally and so on, but as soon as I start a game the HDMI signal stops for a short time, is there again, stops again etc. And that very quickly in succession.
Depending on the game, these alternating breaks are of different lengths… For God of War, for example. Approx. 10 sec.
After this interplay between "Signal found" and "Signal aborted", the game starts normally and the gameplay etc. Runs normally.
When the game is closed, these crashes usually come back.
I have already tried several HDMI cables and inputs on my TV… Nothing has fixed this error.
The funny thing is that this error does not appear on my 2 PC monitors, nor on my old, Full-HD no-name television…
So what's the mistake here?
Maybe the HDMI cable is broken or the connections.
Or your PS4 Pro is broken
This would make no sense, since both connections run on the same HDMI cable on other devices, and the Pro runs on other output devices without any problems.
I switched off HDR on the Ps4 today… And lo and behold, there were suddenly no more problems…
Furthermore, this little mistake doesn't prevent me from playing, it's just a little annoying when the game starts.
I'll watch that time.
