He was at the ps4 i have been using it for a long time but where the things should be is just black like the rest
It is quite plausible that it has worn out, and that happened a lot on the PS3 controllers.
Presumably wear and tear from use.
There's a sticker on the bottom that can wear off over time, especially if used carelessly.
