I would like to start with YT. In the direction of gaming on twitch.
I let it go through my head a few times and it would really be a dream for me to earn money with it. I saved the money for the equipment a long time ago.
But I don't want to spend a lot of money on the equipment because I'm obviously afraid that nothing will come of it… Besides, I'll be 18 in 10 days… Isn't that quite young?
I think it's more realistic. 18 is a good age too.
The difficult thing about YT is to get a little range first. Just like on Twitch
If you really want that then go in 😊
Just think carefully about what you say / show, not that it somehow haunts you later. And don't have that high expectations, otherwise you will quickly be disappointed if you don't make money right away.
But in itself there's nothing against it. Do what you want ☺️
Believe me, YT is really expensive in the beginning.
I could have bought a lot more for the money.
YT is in my opinion a pure hobby. With YT you don't earn anything and you go "first in advance".
Then there's the tax… Believe me, don't spend a lot and don't be disappointed if that doesn't work out. I do YT as a hobby myself and have to say that it takes a lot of time and knowledge…
Yes, I'm still really thinking about what to do. I want something that still doesn't exist, so to speak😅
I mean there are enough people who have really good equipment and also play twitch and only have one audience.
You can always start with YouTube, but you should always expect that you will flop on YouTube and Twitch and never make any money, otherwise you will most likely be disappointed (sounds tough, but that's the way it is).
Above all, it is important that you have your own style and create good content.
Here are a few tips:
Good sound and video quality (your voice should be good and clear, have enough bass, and the background music shouldn't be too loud or too soft.)
Interesting videos (a lot of content in less time)
At the beginning short videos (preferably max. 8 min.), Then viewers are more willing to see the whole video. If 100 people see a 5 minute long video to the end, it looks better with the YouTube algorithm than if 200 people only half watch a 10 minute long video. Which means -> It is more likely that the video will be suggested to more people.
Look what is in the trends and draw content from it. Important: do what suits your channel. For example, if you mainly do GTA V videos, it doesn't fit if Farming Simulator 2018 suddenly comes up (as an example)
With Twitch, it is recommended to build a community on YouTube and then bring it to Twitch. Otherwise you hardly have a chance.
What do you want to do?
Now I'm just thinking about getting the equipment…
