Streaming Pc self-made?

I would like to get a streaming PC and assemble it myself. I'm the absolute layman in the field, but I want to play on my Xbox and then stream it via PC and also record and edit. Otherwise he just has to save pictures and possibly watch videos on YouTube. So I don't need a pure gaming monster because I don't want to play directly on PC. Accessories such as cam and micro are initially left out. Now my question;): Which parts do I need so that nothing is missing in the end? Finished PCS should be more expensive so my decision and I will get help to assemble. Budget only for the PC is 700 euro plus minus a few euro. I think I can buy a good thing for that? According to my amateur research, the parts have to be coordinated with one another and that's where it ends for me because I have no plan. I hope I might get some honest help from someone who has the idea and doesn't recommend garbage for a lot of money. I thank you in advance for every good tip. Stay healthy greetings are out.

That was fast.

Comes out every year, I've "put together" my PC since 2015 and it still jokes to this day, I'm satisfied…

ma

So you want to have a setup for 700 euro or the cheapest with which you can stream properly?

vo

Can you recommend one that is good enough for my purposes but that is already built? I'm not really sure whether I want to do it all myself

ma

Unfortunately, both are gaming systems. But the direction is already correct.

Sy

No, also a solid office PC… See https://www.heise.de/...2248480907

vo

It doesn't have to be the cheapest of the cheapest but a reasonable one where I don't need new parts again next year. If it only costs 500 euro in the end, then I have more for cam etc.

This is really terrible if you have no idea about the subject, but I hope that will come with time.

Not all streaming software supports AMD graphics cards, so you should check beforehand which software you want to stream with…

Then you need an interface to bring the HDMI signal from your console, or whatever, into your PC…

Ideally, you also need your own interface for audio…

I use interfaces from Blackmagicdesign, but unfortunately that costs a little more, but it is also professional…

Then the question about the interface to connect these interfaces to your PC, for me it is Thunderbolt 3 and I use a gaming laptop from Schenker (xmg ultra 17) … Which is also a real gaming monster…

The PC should also have a couple of outputs, because in addition to (probably OBS) you also want to see a web interface with an outgoing streaming image… I use Vmix (4k version) as streaming software…

So if you want something professional and good, you will have to dig deeper into your pockets, for cheap stuff as you can often see on Youtube or Twitch, your budget may be enough…

Well, that's too much for me to start with. I've never had a PC, that's why I ask so many questions. But now I want to get one and I get as much information as possible so that in the end I don't throw my money out the window, you know.

Ideally, you need a powerful CPU for your area of responsibility because it does all the work here, since a few GB quickly add up to a few minutes when recording is much better hard disk space (at least 1TB)

In terms of price and performance, the RyzenCPUs of the last two generations, in combination with a b550 board, are the most interesting and are decided in the end when the rest is complete

so good and cheap b550

-> ASRock B550 Pro4 for 117 euro

in addition inexpensive main memory which is sufficiently fast

-> 16GB G.Skill Aegis DDR4-3200 for 55 euro

a power supply which is not garbage but cheap

-> 400 watts be quiet! System Power 9 for 38 euro

very important to get the whole bang through the PC is a capture card

-> Elgato Game Capture HD60 Pro for 190 euro

a cheap graphics card so that you have a picture on the device… The question is how many screens should be connected here… The card only manages 2 of which only one is HDMI… If necessary, you have to take a better one

-> 2GB Gigabyte GeForce GT 1030 Silent Low Profile 2G Passive PCIe 3.0 x16 (x8) for 70 euro

a housing where everything should be

-> be quiet! Pure Base 500 metallic gray 65 euro

now we turn to the CPU… With a budget of 700 euro, 165 euro remain

if you're lucky, you'll get a Ryzen 5 3600 somewhere, currently this is 195 euro. Maybe you want to add the 30 euro too

The problem now is that we don't have any memory yet and actually have to take the more expensive box version of the CPU to get a cooler

-> 1000GB Intel 660P for 103 euro

mh, you would have to put the red pencil on the mainboard and the CPU… But you can't get more than 100 euro out of that… And in the end it is difficult to set up a new system for the money:-)

vo

Thanks, that was helpful and I will definitely take it into account.

Ab

Maybe you still have a case and you can somehow get the money with used parts… But I think you have to add 100 euro to that

ma

Yes, that's what it will amount to. But you won't need more than 500 euro for a streaming PC.

I can do a sample setup for you if you want.

ma

Paywall…

Su

Yes, of course, then don't buy a cheap calculator because you think it would be the first one… I did that once too - Medion, good, cheap and in the end just trouble…

After that, I only built myself and can now fall back on 30 years of experience.

Here you read it again and again that have the problems, have bad computers…
