My friend (PC Windows Edition) and I (Xbox) want to play Ark on a non-dedicated (or whatever it's called) server that they host. When I was on his Wi-Fi with my console, it also worked great, but now that I'm back home, I don't suffer anymore. We have already opened all ports on his Fritzbox, but unfortunately the message "Join Failed" always pops up when I want to join him. Did we do something wrong when opening the ports? Are there any more things to do? By the way, when he wants to join my hosted server, the message comes too. When I join my other friend (Xbox), I don't.
Which haven did you open?
and does he also have an IPv4 that you can join?
Ark is not ipv6 capable, that's important if you only have DS-Lite…
Which ports would you have to release?
So, ports 7777 and 27015 UDP and port 32330 TCP must be released… In the host's router, i.e. The one that hosts the non-dedicated server…
We did it, but unfortunately it still doesn't work. Any ideas?
There's still a lot, for example the IP…
Is that an IPv6 or an IPv4? I mean yours now
As far as I can see IPv4. By the way, thanks for the help, regardless of whether it works
