I have the problem that my stream on Twitch is very pixelated when I move quickly. I've tried a lot of different things from changing bitrate, using CPU and more, but nothing changes.

Maybe the camera's autofocus just isn't fast enough? Computing power is not the only thing that counts here.

fa

How do you mean that? Stream everyone else via OBS and have also adopted other settings, which, however, also do not serve their purpose

Oh, I thought you were talking about a camera stream.

How high is your upload rate?

Al

If you use OBS, you can activate the bandwidth test mode there. If you then start your stream, your channel will not go live, that is, nobody will see what you are streaming.

Just let the stream run a little in bandwidth mode, even with quick movements etc. And when you are done, you can use the Twitch Inspector to view the results of the bandwidth test stream. There you can see, for example, whether your bit rate, which arrives at Twitch, remains constant or fluctuates significantly.

Hi! Could of course be due to your internet connection. The PC looks fine for streaming.

My upload is 45 MB

fa

My Uoload is 45 MB

That should be enough. But you certainly mean 45 Mbit.

fa

Yes sorry. Yes, I'm aware that that is enough, but it still overwhelms me why it is the way it is.

Za

Too little bit rate for too high a resolution / frame rate.

Encoding a 1080p60 stream with rapid changes in the picture with only 6000kbit / s just doesn't work.

fa

And what do you think i should be using on twitch?

Za

Since Twitch does not accept more than 6000kbit / s, the only other adjustment screw is week because the resolution is. Just turn it down to 900p60 (1600 * 900 with 60fps) and the compression artifacts should be less.

fa

Unfortunately, not much has changed.

Za

What have you currently set in the encoder?

Za

Yeah, that's the maximum bitrate for Twitch, as I said, you have to reduce your resolution.

Currently it is so that your encoder has to pack 60 times 2.1 million pixels in 6000kbit. And that in every second that you stream.

Imagine packing your suitcase for vacation. You are only allowed to take your smallest suitcase with you on the plane and you are trying to squeeze your whole apartment into it. Of course it is clear that the kitchen looks a bit dented after unpacking.

So the trick is to pack less, so to reduce the resolution.

With 1600 * 900 you only have to compress 1.4 million pixels per frame

With 1280 * 720 only 0.9 million pixels.

The less you pack with the same suitcase size (bit rate), the fewer dents and dents (compression artifacts) your things will have after unpacking.
